Modern Courtyard

A contemporary driveway and inner front courtyard garden with an industrial twist, juxtapose with plenty of soft, natural style planting. A bespoke fence and gate divide the driveway and inner courtyard, as well as creating privacy and screening from vehicles and the road beyond.

The courtyard is now a tranquil yet dynamic space, using locally sourced and bespoke materials. Planting of grasses, edible herbs, perennials and multi-stem trees greens the area and creates texture and interest.

Organic shaped beds soften the wide, linear paths and create playful movement throughout the space.

“We wouldn’t hesitate to recommend Polly. From our first meeting, she listened carefully to what we wanted from a new garden and came up with a really thoughtful and beautiful design.

From ordering samples, answering emails, recommending plants and suppliers, sourcing quotes for the work and checking in to see how it’s going, Polly has been fantastic throughout.”
